Helllllllo! Today I am back with a tutorial - oooooooo- because i've never really done a proper one and thought "Why not!?". This is more of a summer going out look rather than a day to day look because of the bright lip and heavier eyes, but thats just my personal opinion. So of course you can wear this makeup look whenever or wherever you want. Before I babble on for hours, lets get on with it!

So! I started off my spraying my new Smashbox primer water all over my face to ensure that my makeup stays put all day and doesn't budge one bit.
I then applied my Mac 'Soft Ochre' long lasting paint pot all over my eyelids with my fingertips to make sure my eye shadow also stays on all day (I get very oily eye lids, so this step is very important). I just patted it into my skin so the eyeshadow has a nice, even base.
I then took my zoeva 142 brush and applied my base shadow which was 'cover' from the Urban decay Naked 2 basics. I just used this eyeshadow to cover my whole lid and brought it up very close to my brow bone, ready to blend down later.
Next, with my real techniques base shadow brush, I took the colour 'Chopper' from an Urban Decay palette and took it lightly through my crease using windscreen wiper motions to work it into the outer corner of my eye. This just added some depth and dimention.
Then with the colour 'Polyester bride' from the same palette, I used the zoeva 231 brush to lightly pat the shadow into the inner corner and the centre of the eyelid to brighten and open out my eyes. I just blended all the colours together to get rid of any harsh lines.
EYESHADOW --- DONE.

I then started on my brows. Firstly, I lightly went over my brows with Brow drama by Maybelline so the powder I was going to use stuck to my eyebrow hairs.
After that, I used the zoeva 317 brush and the colour 'undone' from the Naked 2 basics to shape and fill in the sparse parts of my brows, using hair-like brush strokes to make my brows look as natural as possible.
I then went over my brows again with he transparent brow gel to make them stay all day and also to distribute the pigment from the powder evenly.
After brows I went on to use my Mac studio fix fluid in the shade NC20 and I buffed this into my skin using circular motions to make sure the foundation stayed on all day. I did this with the zoeva 102 brush.
I then moved on to concealer, where I used the Urban Decay Naked skin concealer in the shade 'fair neutral' to conceal and also highlight my face. As you can see from the picture, I mainly put the concealer on the high points of my face like my forehead and cheekbones.
I then went to blend this in with a damp beauty blender to make sure there were no harsh lines between my foundation and concealer.

Onto powder! I used my Mac studio fix powder in the same shade of my foundation and brushed this lightly all over my face, mainly focusing on the outer part of my face, as I didn't want t make the parts where I put concealer any darker and I did this with the zoeva 106 brush.
Then I did my contour with the hoola bronzer and zoeva 127 brush. I used the technique of sucking my cheeks in to get underneath the cheekbone to really shape and structure my face. I also applied bronzer using the real techniques powder brush all around the outer part of my face including my jaw bone.
I took my Mac blush in the colour 'dame' and with a small cheek brush, lightly put it on the apples of my cheeks and then slightly bringing it back to add some more colour to my face.
Lastly, I took a L'oreal lipliner in the colour 'bois-de-rose' and ever so slightly over-lined my lips just to make them look a bit bigger, and then with my bourjois rouge edition velvet matte finish lip gloss/stick (I don't know what you call it) in the colour 07, I just filled in the rest of my lips! And TA DA! A summery makeup look, simple!

It is finally summer! Last weekend I went on a little shopping trip to buy some much-needed new summer clothes! As I'm now on study leave, I figured that that I would need some more clothes as I am not going to be at school anymore (apart from exams) so new clothes were at the top of my shopping list! In this post I am going to be showing you the new things I bought, and also some of my all time summer favourites! Hope you enjoy!

Love,

Hello everyone! I am back once more, this time with a quick update about what's been going on, and also a few of the things I was loving last month!

So I think the Last time I posted was in February, which was a very long time ago and I just can't believe I have not posted since! Well, the last few months have been very busy, and the next few months are going to be too. I have my GCSE's the week after next which is taking up an awful lot of my time because of revision etc... Also, the other week, I had my drama final piece, and the rehearsals for that took even more of my time. Then, on top of that, I am currently in a play, which is being performed in July, so with revision and rehearsals, I don't tend to have that much spare time anymore! Although I'm pretty excited for the exams (well lets say I'm more excited about what's going to happen after the exams!) Straight after my exams, I have a very long holiday of something like 2 and a bit months which is just crazy, and I already have a tonne of stuff planned, like Prom, going to Sardinia and Aldeburgh and meeting up with friends blah blah blah. So as you can see, busy times ahead, so probably not much blogging will happen between now and the end of June which is pretty sad. Although, during the holidays I'll have all the time in the world, so you'll definitely be hearing from me then!

Now onto my favourites...

MAKEUP
This foundation is literally my life. I heard about it through my friends and I just had to try it because it looked amazing on them! I have pretty oily skin, so I was more or less looking for a matte foundation, or one best suited for oily skin. As you may know, No. 7 have a really good range of foundation, but the 'beautifully matte' one is just perfect for my skin type. Also, as well as being, well, matte, it has a SPF 15, so perfect for the summer.

I got this lipliner around the middle of last month, but I've been wearing it so much I just had to put it in. This liner is in the colour 'Bois De Rose' and is a beautiful plumby, dusty pink (I'm not very good at describing colours). This liner just glides on to the lips so well and has really good staying power. It also blends really well into lipsticks to get the nice sort of darker to lighter gradient look.

NAIL VARNISH
I got this polish back in February but didn't really wear it, as I came to the conclusion that it was a more summery colour, so when it got to Easter, and the weather started to get a tiny bit nicer, I decided to wear this and I just loved it. It's so bright, and some how it looks good with every outfit. I wore it over the entirety of the easter holidays and will 100% be wearing even more throughout the summer!

SKINCARE
This body butter is just incredible. It's lovely and soft with tiny bits in it which helps moisturise your body, and, the smell is amazing. I understand that if you don't really like the smell of orange, you will definitely not love this product, but if you're like me and do, this is the definitely 100% the body butter for you.

Today I thought I would spice things up a bit and do something I have never done before here on my blog! A cooking post! I absolutely love baking and thought that my favourite cookie recipe was perfect to share with you. These treats are super easy to make and taste absolutely incredible! So, lets get started!

What you will need

• 50g of softened, salted butter

• 80g of light brown muscovado sugar

• 80g of granulated sugar

• 2tsp of vanilla extract

• 1 large egg

• 225g of plain flour

• 1/4 tsp of salt

• 1/2 tsp of bicarbonate of soda

• 200g of plain milk/dark/white chocolate pieces or chips  (I used a 200g chocolate bar and broke it up into pieces)

Method

Now for the fun part! These cookies take around 15 minutes to make and then a further 12 minutes to bake, so it really is quick! Start off by pre-heating your oven to 190C or fan/gas mark 5. Also, line 2 baking trays with grease proof paper.

1. Start by putting the softened butter and both types of sugar into a large mixing bowl and then beat until creamy. Beat in the vanilla extract and the egg as well.

2. Sieve in the rest of the dry ingredients and mix together with a wooden spoon. Then add your chocolate pieces/chips into the mixture and continue to stir until all the chocolate has been combined.

3. Using a teaspoon, place small amounts of the cookie dough onto the trays, spacing them well apart  so they have room to flatten out.

4. Bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes. You want to wait until the edges have gone light brown but the middle is still soft.

5. When you have taken them out of the oven, leave on the baking trays for a few minutes to ensure they have firmed up, and then transfer them carefully onto cooling racks to cool completely.

And thats it! Honestly, these taste amazing and are perfect slightly warm as well as when they have cooled down! I hope you have enjoyed this different style post and you will be hearing from me again very soon!

Much love,
Becky x

I'm back again! Todays post is going tot be slightly different to my others (although still on makeup) but its not going to be the usual review. A few of my friends mentioned to me that they would like me to do some sort of post on makeup I think is essential to have, if you are just starting out with makeup, or even if you have a large collection. These are just a few items that I would not be able to live without! So without further a do, lets get on with it!

Happy Friday everyone! SO… I am finally back on track with uploading my blogs, although I have a feeling that I won’t be able to upload them as frequently as I would hope to. I am thinking of uploading once a week (maybe twice if I’m feeling fancy) and it will probably normally be on a Friday as I get home from school early and will have much more time!

Anyway, today I am back with a lifestyle post about some gorgeous candles I got for Christmas. As a Person who has never really candles before, I was extremely excited when I unwrapped these on Christmas morning! These two candles are from Marks & Spencer and are part of the ‘La Maison De Senteurs’ range. There are lots of different scents from this range, but I got a lemon fragrance and also a floral fragrance. These to scents complement each other really nicely therefore it is lovely to have them lit in the same room because when the smells mix the outcome is amazing! Surprisingly the smell outcome of the candles is really good and make the whole room smell lovely and fresh. As I said before, I have never really had candles before, but after getting these, I definitely want to get some more because they smell incredible! After looking on the Marks &Spencer website, these are £6 at the moment and also have a   deal on which is buy one get one half price, so if I were you, I’d go and order some straight away! And not going to lie, but £6 for a Candle like this is pretty incredible! I tend to keep these two candles either side of my makeup table, or even on my desk when I’m working. I think that candles are a great way to help you relax and also are a really beautiful way to light up and also make the air smell gorgeous.

Sorry that this is such a short post (I feel like I’m always apologising! Sorry!) but I will be   back next week with something different for you all to read and hopefully enjoy!

Lots of love
